Terms of Service

1. The service

Veros is an online legal-knowledge game. By using the site you accept these terms and the privacy policy.

2. Your account

You can play the free duel as a guest or create an account. You must be at least 16 to have an account. You are responsible for your password and for what happens in your account. Don't use someone else's name or an offensive one.

3. Denarii, paid tables and plans

• Denarii are the game's virtual currency. They are used only in Veros (table seats, the Great Judgment entry, other in-game features), have no cash value, cannot be transferred to another account and cannot be exchanged for money.
• Denarii bought in a pack stay in your account. Denarii from a monthly plan (the monthly stipend) expire after 31 days and are spent first.
• A plan renews every month until you cancel it. You can cancel any time from "Manage or cancel your subscription"; the cancellation applies from the next renewal, and the Denarii you already received stay until they expire. Deleting your account cancels the plan automatically.
• When a match does not start, or stops through our fault, paid seats are refunded in Denarii.
• Denarii are digital content delivered at once. By buying, you ask for immediate delivery and acknowledge that, once delivered, you lose the 14-day right of withdrawal, within the limits set by law. Your statutory rights if something is not as described are not affected.

4. Fair play

• No cheating, automated tools, multiple accounts used for an advantage, spam, or attempts to disrupt the service or other players' games.
• No illegal, hateful or harassing content, display names included.

5. Content

We try to keep the questions accurate but make no guarantee. Veros is a game and a study tool, not legal advice.

6. Suspension and closure

We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms; Denarii in an account suspended for cheating are not refunded. You can delete your account at any time from your settings.

7. Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for interruptions or indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer.

8. Changes and governing law

When we change these terms, we announce it on the site before they apply. These terms are governed by Romanian law.
